How to Find Furniture Plans FREE Online!

Have you always wanted to make your own furniture? Got a gift card from Home Depot or Lowes burning a hole in your pocket? Or maybe you need to practice your skills so you can be the next Extreme Makeover host…Whether you are a novice carpenter or an expert on do-it-yourself home projects, the Internet has got your stuff! Read on for some great sites that offer free plans to build your own home furniture.

For the experienced crafter, check out the plans at Jeff Greef Woodworking. He has a beautiful Oval Side Table with cabriole legs that is first-rate, and his instructions are well illustrated! Other free plans here include a Bombe Vitrine (a fine glass display case) that is a must-have project for expert routers, and a knick knack shelf (a nice scroll saw project).

At Amateur Woodworker, you can search the archives for all sorts of plans and ideas including a baby changing table, compact TV cabinet, and a breakfast bar with side shelves. Get out your sanders!
